Well, we should at least, make them pay their fair share shouldn't we?  OK, I agree... but what's fair.  Here are the facts... The top 5% of earners pay well over half of all federal taxes. The bottom 50% pay almost no federal income taxes.

Dramatically increased taxes, in the short term, generate a quick budgetary  windfall, but what then?  Increased taxes also, ALWAYS puts pressure on the job creators the business owners.  In simple terms it means less profit, which leads to cost cutting, which means layoffs, in addition to the fact that many companies simply go out of business...  This results in...

	fewer workers,
	causing increased unemployment and social aid,
	increasing government expenses
	but fewer workers means an even smaller tax base,
	which means even lower revenues to the government,
	so less income to the government,
	Means a larger budget deficit,
	Which means we need another tax increase?!...
	Does that sound familiar?  Isn't that how we got here in the first place?

This is Government in Action

The above is not a hypothetical.  Just look to Europe.  This was the road they followed.  They tried to solve all social ills by increasing taxes.  Take from the rich and give to the poor.  The result is an unsustainable tax burden, chasing an unsustainable burden of debt and social entitlement.

Higher taxes diminishes wealth, which lowers the tax base, which lowers tax revenues, which causes budget deficits that creates the need for tax increases, which diminishes wealth, etc...  Insanity!

Europe's attempt to solve all problems with tax increased has led to chaos and ultimately riots.  It has and will do the same in the US.

Anyway we slice it, this country does not have a revenue or tax problem.  As we've seen, it is impossible for tax increases to solve our problems.  Remember, facts are facts, numbers are numbers... no matter how much some would like to believe that if we just taxed Bill Gates more, we'd be fine, IT JUST IS NOT TRUE...  As illustrated above, if we took ALL the money from the rich, we'd still sink. 

The US does not have a tax issue... WE HAVE A SPENDING ISSUE.

It's time our politicians stop playing games, stop lying and start talking about actual solutions.  Get rid of the class warfare and get rid of the insanity!

The FDA in conjunction with big pharma has a stranglehold on research and future drug patents.

If you are not big Pharma, you can't even get to clinical trial. Big pharma suggested and FDA agreed to require fees just to apply for a trial.  It provides the FDA with almost $600 million a year, about half of it's budget.  This puts the FDA on the payroll of the industry it regulates.  The FDA now operates as if the customers are the Drug companies, rather than the consumer.  What a great way to keep out competition and influence the decisions of the FDA. Trials often last 5 to 10 years or more and cost upwards of Five Hundred Million to complete.  If you don't have $500 million, let alone have the ability to risk $500 million, no matter how great the medication, you won't get to trial... UNLESS, you partner up with Big Pharma (another way they control the industry). Natural Remedies- You can't patent a nutrient or vitamin and you can't advertise anything as a cure (even if it is), for anything without FDA approval, which you can't get for under $500 million.  Then, once you get the approval, you can't profit from it because it is an unpatentable natural product.  The result is that if it's not a drug that can be patented, it will NEVER get FDA approval and therefore, it will never be allowed to be advertised and used for a cure... even if it works! Whether by design or accident, no cures can be offered to the consumer unless it's controlled by big pharma through the FDA..  Is this killing us?

It Can't Be That Bad?

If you came up with a therapy or even CURE for cancer that was head and shoulders more effective than any other approved therapy, you'd get rich right?  The world would sing your praises, buildings and towns would be named after you... right?

It happened.  A dramatic improvement in treatment (for many, an outright cure that most still have not heard about), was discovered that resulted in complete remission in MANY patients, a much higher remission and cure rate than with any FDA approved treatments... and there were absolutely no side affects.   So what did the FDA do in conjunction with the National Cancer Institute?  What did our government do?  Focus on this fabulous life saving breakthrough, right?  Not exactly.  They fought it all the way.  Put up road blocks, prosecuted the Doctor that made the discovery, tried to destroy him, embroiled him in specious legal battles while surreptitiously partnering with a dishonest associate of the inventing doctor.  They, started a "new" company and attempted to steal the patents on it.

FDA Mandates Death?

Assume you are dying, there is no FDA approved cure but there is a new treatment, unapproved but with promising results.  If you take it, you might live.  You also might die.  If you don't take it, you die.  PERIOD.

Thousands, if not, millions face this heart wrenching choice every year.  Take the experimental drug and possibly live or maybe die... or DON'T take that chance face an inevitable death because nothing else has a chance.

Most any sane person would choose to take the gamble.  Nothing to lose a new life to gain.  The problem is, They don't have that choice.  Without FDA approval, even if you want to take that chance, you can't.  If the doctor or practitioner gives you the treatment, they will be put in prison.  So your only choice is to die!

Isn't it your body?  Isn't that what we always hear?  Our body, our choice, except when it comes to an incurable disease?  Then our only choice is to die??? What are they afraid of?  If you don't take it, you WILL die, If you DO take it you might die but might live? 

Cancer and Statins comprise a huge medical industry.

Just as with all other things, when big money is involved, ethics go out the window... people re dying because of it.

What is Success?

You define your own success.  How others define it is irrelevant..  It is not just about money, it is so much more than that.  It's standing on your own 2 feet, while living the life that you choose for yourself and your family.

There was a time in my life, in which, my income consisted solely from raising reptiles, playing the guitar and as a real estate agent who occasionally sold a house or two. I  didn't have a lot of money.  I had a modest home, next to a park and right across the street from the schools that my children attended.

I worked from home, could and did take breaks during the day to play with the kids on the park swings or play a bit of baseball. I did not have a lot of money, but I had the freedom to raise my children comfortably and happily.  I was the most successful person I knew because I accomplished EXACTLY what I set out to do.  Neither a baby sitter nor day care provider raised my children.  I did.  I had successfully accomplished a very worthwhile objective.

I chose an unorthodox method to accomplish my personal success, but the basic principles that I used to accomplish that objective were the same that were needed to build ASN.  They are the same principles needed to build the corner clothing store, a new internet company or the largest corporation in the world. Success in any endeavor always requires the adherence to certain Universal principles.  Activities can and do vary, but these principles are universal and eternal. 

ACTIVITIES CHANGE, THE BUSINESS VEHICLE CHANGES... BUT PRINCIPLES ARE ETERNAL

Regardless of the objective, the required principles are always the same.

Even though, hundreds of books have been written on them, millions of word used to describe them, the fact is that they are relatively few in number and simple to apply.  They work!  I challenge anyone to find one successful person that would disagree with the principles that we teach. 

These principles work.  Internalize them, make them a part of who you are and they will change your life...

Whether learning a song, breeding a snake, selling a house, or building an empire, it all starts with...

Belief.

First, belief that it's possible and then that YOU can do it.  Without the belief that I could do it, I would have stopped trying.  I wouldn't have learned the song, I wouldn't have studied the breeding habits of pythons, I wouldn't have bothered showing the homes to the prospective buyers.  Why would I?  If I don't think they will buy?  Without belief, we feel it's a waste of time so we stop trying.  The future accomplishments die!
