Religion is often touted as the OPIATE OF THE MASSES<\/strong> because it supposedly dulled their life’s pain\u00a0with delusory promises of a beautiful existence in heaven. \u00a0Therefore, there was supposedly less need to struggle for a better existence in this life because their reward would be in the next. In short, religion\u00a0made them feel better about their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

IS THERE NOW AN\u00a0OPIATE OF THE<\/span> ATHEISTS?<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nThe concept of an\u00a0atheistic\u00a0materialism;<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the belief\u00a0that\u00a0all we see and <\/span><\/span>all we are<\/em><\/span>\u00a0is nothing more than chemical processes\u00a0is all but DEAD!<\/span> The <\/span>empirical evidence<\/em> proving\u00a0there is more to reality than molecules in motion is overwhelming and continues to mount\u00a0almost daily. \u00a0 However, for many, even the most powerful compelling evidence is not enough; WHY?\u2026 because\u00a0he who <\/span><\/strong><\/span>will not see<\/em>\u00a0stands\u00a0no better than he who can not see<\/em><\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0 Any objective analysis of the issues and facts makes it clear that the problems of strict materialism are not just legion but apparently insurmountable\u2026<\/span>
\n * Origin of life research<\/strong><\/span>
\n * The Fossil Record.<\/strong><\/span>
\n * The problem of mind and conciousness.<\/strong><\/span>
\n * The newest discoveries *Quantum Theory have actually destroyed materialism*.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In spite of the ever expanding mountain of objective data, why do so many continue to hold to\u00a0a strict, intractable, unwillingness to examine new information and continue to embrace an\u00a0unyielding\u00a0dogma of materialism and atheism?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0For many, atheism <\/span><\/span>is\u00a0<\/span>their<\/u><\/span>\u00a0opiate<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em>.<\/span><\/span> It is often used to feel better and smarter than those who believe in God. \u00a0<\/span><\/span>They think\u00a0a\u00a0lack of theistic belief evinces higher intellect, advanced\u00a0logical processing, a more scientifically informed status than\u00a0the Theists.<\/strong> They often believe that those who belief in God don\u2019t have a strong grip on reality; know nothing of science, biology or evolution. Some such as Richard Dawkins have even started referring to atheists as \u201cThe Brights\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/span>
\nAlso, as has been pointed out in many ways, often a main reason for atheism is the desire to avoid moral constraints. <\/span><\/p>\n

AS stated by Aldous Huxely, \u201cI had motive for not wanting the world to have a meaning \u2026 the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an instrument of liberation, sexual and political\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0Often, they take comfort in the belief that no matter what they do, so\u00a0long as no one knows… there are no consequences for anything. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Personally, I enjoy living by the motto “Live your life as if someone is always watching… Not only is doing so the key to being a great person… \u00a0I believe there IS\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>someone watching!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“A LITTLE<\/em> KNOWLEDGE IS A DANGEROUS AND OFTEN DESTRUCTIVE<\/em><\/span> THING”<\/strong><\/span>
\n From the origin of species through the ensuing 100 years or so, science supported an atheist worldview<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. During that time, various branches of science were\u00a0used as sledgehammers in an attempt to destroy religion; to remove it from society. Although, the attempts continue, the evidentiary landscape has DRAMATICALLY changed!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Virtually every new discovery in biology and cosmology over\u00a0the past 50 years or more has created an new difficulty for atheism and materialism; difficulties that as of now seem insurmountable. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Even a growing number of atheists are claiming that\u00a0the materialist worldview is dead. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of countless examples:<\/strong><\/span> Thomas\u00a0Nagel is an atheist, who cannot accept God as a final answer, and yet he echoes some theological critiques of science. “Physic-chemical reductionism,” he writes, cannot tell us how matter became animate on Earth more than three billion years ago; nor can it account for the emergence in our ancestors of consciousness, reason and morality.<\/span>http:\/\/blogs.scientificamerican.com\/cross-check\/is-scientific-materialism-almost-certainly-false\/<\/a>\u00a0 also see: \u00a0http:\/\/allsolutionsnetwork.org\/blog\/the-truth-about-religion<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

DISCOVERIES THAT CHANGED THE WORLD!<\/strong><\/span>
\n * It was\u00a0thought the cell was just a bag of protoplasm.<\/span>
\nWRONG!<\/strong> It turns out each cell is the equivalent of a large city full of factories and biological machines that are constantly moving from one area to another to accomplish any needed objectives. see from Harvard Medical School https:\/\/youtu.be\/FzcTgrxMzZk<\/a><\/span>

* Darwin, explained how the incredible diversity of life we see all around us could be accomplished by random chance with new species created by the accumulation of selected mutations.. <\/span>
\nWRONG.<\/strong> We now know that there are definite limits to what DNA mutations can accomplish.<\/span>
\n The fact is that virtually all mutations have either NO or NEGATIVE results; or those that provide positive results are caused by the LOSS of genetic information not the ADDITION of positive information. This has been shown in many research studies. See one: https:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article\/dn27760-cradle-of-creation-evolution-shapes-up-new-ecosystem-in-the-lab\/#.VYjMnE3bKuV<\/a><\/span><\/span>
\n Although, this study\u00a0is touted in the media and science journals as resounding support for Darwinism and evolution, the fact is that it actually produced nothing more than the duplication of an already existing gene<\/em><\/span> (this is not unusual), plus<\/strong> the breaking<\/em> of another gene. \u00a0<\/span>What was this great evolutionary discovery?<\/span>
\n It was stated that the bacterium had “evolved the ability to feed on citrate\u201d. NOT SO!<\/span>
\n Normal E. coli ALREADY have the ability to feed on citrate — they just don’t typically do it under oxic conditions. There was nothing new here, just something different.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

* At the time that Darwin’s theory came into to play, we still believed in abiogenesis<\/span> i.e that life readily<\/em> <\/strong>arises from non life. Therefore, the \u201cfact\u201d that life could arise without a creator was “not even controversial”<\/span>
\n WRONG.<\/strong> Issues of how life could possibly have arisen “naturally” are now known to be the most difficult problem in science. see… http:\/\/allsolutionsnetwork.org\/blog\/category\/religion<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\n The fact is that no one can PROVE the existence of God any more than Science can DISPROVE his existence.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, as science progresses, the facts increasingly create evidentiary inferences that God Does Exist.<\/span>

As was stated by Steve Laufmann,<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\n Evolution\u2019s grand challenge: The complex programs and amazing molecular machines at the heart of life simply cannot be explained by any current or proposed theory of evolution, nor by any other completely material cause.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Apologists for materialism cannot hide this fact much longer. Neither the volume of their arguments nor any level of vitriol can change the fact that the data is skewing against them.<\/em><\/span><\/span>
\n Rarely has any field of science had to deal with questions so difficult, or that cut so deeply into the worldviews<\/strong>, minds, and hearts, of thoughtful men and women.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evolution sits at the center of a front-and-center debate \u2014 with too much to explain, in too little time, with insufficient causal power, and with so many watching and so much at stake.<\/span>
