Before providing Facts of Crises and eventual\u00a0Recoveries, please, take just a moment to read just a bit of the background to get some perspective.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many don’t realize that two years after Reagan’s inauguration, his\u00a0popularity was declining\u00a0quickly. \u00a0The economy was not improving fast\u00a0enough for anyone’s satisfaction. \u00a0Most people failed to understand\u00a0that <\/span><\/span>Economic problems are built over time. \u00a0They don’t just\u00a0pop into being\u00a0<\/span>overnight<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Not, can\u00a0even the best, absolutely perfect policy\u00a0bear fruit overnight. \u00a0Positive economic turnarounds grow gradually. \u00a0<\/span><\/span>That is a simple fact of economies.<\/strong><\/span><\/em>\u00a0 So, two years into his administration, there had\u00a0yet to be seen any of the substantial economic improvement that the country\u00a0was counting on. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Calls for changing tactics and policy were everywhere. \u00a0He was being considered a failure and was faced with non stop pressure to change course!\u00a0\u00a0Instead of doing that which was politically expedient, Reagan did what he knew was right! \u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Without Reagan\u2019s unwavering dedication to pursuing his policies\u00a0and steadfastly\u00a0implementing the economic principles that had become\u00a0so\u00a0unpopular, the Reagan miracle\u00a0would not have occurred. \u00a0The political price he was paying was enormous, but he stuck to his guns. \u00a0In the end, both he and the country reaped the rewards.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ISN’T THAT\u00a0WHAT A LEADER DOES! \u00a0Many can\u00a0rightly, say the same of Obama.<\/em> \u00a0In spite of much political fallout, he\u00a0continued on course ignoring immense political pressure. \u00a0I applaud the his persistence, but was he leading down the right path?<\/strong> \u00a0But there’s a huge and fundamental difference between the actions of Reagan and Obama. \u00a0Reagan’s policies had some historical evidence that they would prove to be effective. That is not true of Obama. \u00a0In fact, the opposite is true.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve all hear of the roaring 20s? \u00a0Reagan’s\u00a0policies were similar to those that created that economic boom\u00a0 i.e. low taxes, limited regulation and government spending. \u00a0The Reagan prescription\u00a0resulted in\u00a0one of the most prosperous times in our history. \u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even Bill Clinton<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0implemented a variant of the Reagan principles when he finally acquiesced to conservative pressure and agreed to\u00a0changes to tax, social and spending policies. \u00a0The result? \u00a0An economy that turned around and a deficit that improved. \u00a0Go back even further to\u00a0John F.\u00a0Kennedy. \u00a0<\/strong>What did he do? \u00a0Massive tax cuts, even while concentrating on strengthening our defenses. \u00a0The result? \u00a0Economic growth and additional revenue to the government.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Obama policies?<\/strong>\u00a0What did he do? \u00a0When faced with his\u00a0economic crises, and it was large, to be sure. \u00a0However, Obama, chose to do\u00a0precisely\u00a0the opposite of what has proven, time and again, to work. \u00a0He\u00a0repeated the\u00a0depression like\u00a0failed socialistic policies\u00a0that actually prolonged the great depression…<\/strong><\/em><\/span> Massive spending, Jobs programs, Increased taxes, Massive borrowing… and surprise, surprise, he also achieved depression like\u00a0results! \u00a0i.e.\u00a0Just about the most prolonged economic malaise of our history and unquestionably the WEAKEST recovery in our history.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

CARTER, REAGAN AND OBAMA-\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Following<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0are historical facts that can be easily verified<\/span><\/p>\n
