{"id":30494,"date":"2017-02-24T15:43:11","date_gmt":"2017-02-24T23:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/allsolutionsnetwork.org\/blog\/?p=30494"},"modified":"2018-09-24T16:49:37","modified_gmt":"2018-09-24T23:49:37","slug":"liberal-media-enemy-of-the-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allsolutionsnetwork.org\/blog\/liberal-media-enemy-of-the-people\/","title":{"rendered":"LIBERAL MEDIA&#8230; Enemy of the People?"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The media has<strong> every right and yes, even an obligation<\/strong> to run negative reports\u2026 <em>as long as they are accurate<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>The media has<strong><em> no obligation<\/em> <\/strong>to treat or actually be a friend to any politician; in fact, doing so impacts their objectivity and reporting quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are now seeing a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">non-stop assault of \u201chalf-truths\u201d consisting of twisted facts, and facts taken out of context so as to purvey only <em>partial truths.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 Some might call this lying? It is now done so that even <em>accurate facts<\/em> are cherry picked <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>to <span style=\"color: #000080;\">purposefully create false perceptions<\/span> that result in the public believing that which is demonstrably untrue.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When media comes to treat, present or believe a particular politician or party is an actual ENEMY it creates a cycle of bias and lack of objectivity <strong><em>that inexorably destroys the quality of and intellectual honesty of the reports<\/em><\/strong>\u2026 and that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019ve seen in the media.\u00a0 Wasn&#8217;t it Trump&#8217;s fault?<\/p>\n<p>The media proclaims this was brought about by Trump.\u00a0 <em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">However, to the best of my knowledge Trump&#8217;s attacks on the media began as defensive statements that came<\/span> after the media began a never ending assault on every aspect of his being.\u00a0<\/em> Some true, but most untrue.\u00a0 What would any fair minded person expect?\u00a0 <strong><em>What would you do?\u00a0<\/em> <\/strong>Stand there quietly while your life and reputation was being destroyed?\u00a0 I would hope not.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In my lifetime (I\u2019m turning 60), I\u2019ve never seen anything like this.\u00a0 \u00a0The mainstream media was coming unhinged even prior to Obama, but not like this.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>shortlink to this article\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p2EGlL-7VQ\">http:\/\/wp.me\/p2EGlL-7VQ<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Answer this question:<br \/>\nIf someone consistently lies to you with the intent of furthering their own agenda rather than presenting that information in a truthful way that allows you to make an honest, well informed decision\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>Are they your friend?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Think about it:<\/strong><br \/>\nAssume someone is charged with providing you with important information which they know you will rely on as the basis for making many of the most important decisions in your life, ranging from how you vote to who and what issues you fight or support. \u00a0Further assume, they realize your decisions impact your future, the future of your family, your children, your country\u2026<\/p>\n<p>What if you found that all along they had a hidden personal agenda. \u00a0\u00a0They promise you can trust them, in fact, the entire premise of their existence rests on trust\u2026\u00a0 But you find that in furtherance of <em>their<\/em> agenda they had been picking and choosing the facts to release.\u00a0 \u00a0They weren\u2019t usually <em>quite<\/em> lying to you, rather obfuscating and giving you only partial information while tailoring which facts they provided <strong><em>and which they hide.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you assumed you could trust them, this barrage of disinformation could not help but subtly effect your perception of social and economic reality. \u00a0<strong><em>This of course impacts the choices you and others would make.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By leaving out context, by providing only \u201cpartial\u201d quotes, you realize that for years they were subtly convincing you that what you previously believed was good, was actually bad and what had always seemed right was actually wrong. \u00a0\u00a0You and anyone else subject to this \u201cinformation\u201d could come to question and even become ashamed of long held convictions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Want to protect our boarders, you are a racist.<\/li>\n<li>Want to let people keep more of the money they worked for? You are against the poor.<\/li>\n<li>Want to give children the ability to go to a better school? You are anti-education.<\/li>\n<li>You studied and realized that as to Man Made Climate Change, there really IS a debate? You are an anti-environment science denier!<\/li>\n<li>You are Black but voted republican? You are an Uncle Tom!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These tactics have now been promulgated by the mainstream media for years<strong><em>. \u00a0\u00a0A never ending stream of half-truths and pure propaganda designed not to inform, but to influence.<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A type of social engineering and group think; repeat the same lie often enough, the same talking points from enough venues and\u00a0 eventually we perceive black as white and right as wrong.\u00a0 Pay attention people, watch them\u2026<\/p>\n<p>ENEMY? \u00a0What to you think?<br \/>\nOne thing for sure&#8230; The Mainstream Media is not your friend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The media has every right and yes, even an obligation to run negative reports\u2026 as long as they are accurate.
