color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF LIFE<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">No matter what you currently believe, what follows may shock you.<\/span> \u00a0 <span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">Virtually everything you may have learned about the origin of life while in high school, college and even advanced classes in the top universities is WRONG!<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong> The search and debate for a naturalistic cause of life has been raging for decades with each side repeating somewhat cherry picked facts that inferentially support their side of the debate.\u00a0 <span style=\"background-color: #ffff99;\">As recently as Ten to twenty years ago, many thought the origin of life issue was put to bed with the RNA world theory; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The real problems with origin of life theories are never taught in high schools and rarely even in college biology courses.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> \u00a0 It&#8217;s taught as if, other than a few details, it is well understood. \u00a0The fact is we are nowhere near to solution. \u00a0Every examined path has run into impenetrable brick walls. \u00a0Additionally, the myriad of multilayered problems are rarely discussed and when they <\/span><\/span><em style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">are,<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> the discussion usually consists of <\/span><\/span><em style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">cherry picked facts that are known to be insufficient or even irrelevant to the problem.<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> \u00a0(<\/span><\/span><em style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><em style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Consequently<\/em><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">, even the <strong>best and brightest student of biology<\/strong> is <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">usually<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0left <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I&#8217;ve had discussions with many who have completely mastered the biology <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">curriculums<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0of high school or college, and even received top honors. \u00a0However, what they actually learned is so biased and incomplete that when they engage in a conversation they often respond with a relentless dismissive recounting of the &#8220;facts&#8221; they learned that are <\/span><\/span><em style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">now known to be almost certainly false<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> such as the \u201cRNA World\u201d, &#8220;Thermal vents&#8221;, &#8220;Clay Theory\u201d, &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Haeckel&#8217;s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0embryos&#8221;, etc&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333399; The informational properties of the DNA molecule is perfectly analogous to the most sophisticated computer code. \u00a0<em>Even Bill Gates acknowledges this fact.<\/em> \u00a0It contains folders, sub folders, super folders, error correction mechanisms, etc&#8230; AND it is orders of magnitude more advanced than any code man has created. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 13.5pt; background: white; margin: 7.5pt 0in 7.5pt 0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">According to <strong>Genomics researcher Craig Venter: <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><em>\u201cAll living cells that we know of on this planet are \u2018DNA software\u2019-driven biological machines\u00a0comprised of hundreds of thousands of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">protein robots,<\/span> coded for by the DNA, that carry out precise functions.\u201d \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Richard Dawkins, River out of Eden, 16-19,<\/strong> states: &#8220;After Watson and Crick, we know that genes themselves, within their minute internal structure, are long strings of pure digital information. What is more, they are truly digital, in the full and strong sense of computers and compact disks, not in the weak sense of the nervous system. The genetic code is not a binary code as in computers, nor an eight-level code as in some telephone systems, but a quaternary code, with four symbols. The machine code of the genes is uncannily computer like. Apart from differences in jargon, the pages of a molecular-biology journal might be interchanged with those of a computer-engineering journal. . . .&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Make no mistake DNA is <em>coded<\/em> information,<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000080;\">it is mathematically identical to the characters and function of the alphabet, Morse Code , binary code, hieroglyphics, and any other written or verbal language in existence and it operates in precisely the same informational manner.<\/span> <strong>In short like any code or language, DNA&#8217;s only\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>purpose<\/em> <\/span>is the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">storage and <em>conveyance<\/em><\/span> of functional information used to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>build its biological equivalent!<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WHERE DID THE CODE COME FROM?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #800000;\"><em> *Other than at the core of life, there has never been an\u00a0OBSERVED code of any kind originated by any means other than intelligence*.<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"> But consider this fact. For the origin of life researcher, the puzzle is much more complex that just the <em>origin<\/em> of the code, it\u2019s <strong><em>how could the existence of a code create life?<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0Even if we assume that a complete, coded informationally rich DNA or RNA chain naturalistically came into being via random combinations of amino acids in a &#8220;hypothetical&#8221; prebiotic soup. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Is one assemblage of DNA or RNA life? No. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">\u00a0<strong><em>For the sake of argument, let&#8217;s assume it did, what now?<\/em><\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">By <em>itself a strand of\u00a0<\/em>DNA or RNA is little more than an inanimate, string of linked specific\u00a0<em>amino acids.<\/em> \u00a0No matter how intricate, complex or informationally rich, what can they really accomplish by themselves? Nothing! \u00a0Neither is life. \u00a0To be fair some brilliant scientists have found that RNA has in addition to information bearing properties some limited self-replicating properties. \u00a0In fact, it was that discovery that led to the hypothesis of an amino acid filled prebiotic soup i.e. the RNA world (discussed later). However, this finding has done little to nothing in solving the origin of life problem. \u00a0In fact <strong>Sidney Altman who won the Nobel Prize in 1989 for his work with RNA<\/strong>\u00a0now\u00a0asserts that an RNA divorced from existing life <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>probably never existed.<\/em><\/span> \u00a0 See Sidney Altman states in this talk <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/IhQcK4PsStk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/IhQcK4PsStk<\/a><\/span> \u00a0at the 52:15 min mark: *RNA as the origin of life is not likely and that RNA has never been seen, absent being a part of existing life*.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>For the sake of argument ASSUME RNA\/DNA AROSE NATURALLY&#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0even if we assume that the hypothetical primordial soup of trillions of amino acids randomly produced <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>a perfect informationally rich RNA, what then?<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">It would simply disintegrate!<\/span>\u00a0<em> DNA is known to be a robust and hardy molecule, but because it requires protein to build it, a natural origin is <strong>impossible<\/strong>.<\/em> \u00a0However, RNA is a <strong><em>very<\/em> unstable<\/strong> molecule that dissolves easily and quickly.\u00a0<em>Unless it came into being concurrent with a type of cytoplasmic cellular fluid along with a <strong>concurrent protective cell membrane,<\/strong> it would have been fatally exposed to the unfriendly elements of nature, sunlight, UV rays, wind, heat, cold or it would quickly disassemble in any existing liquid\u2026 <strong>In other words, the RNA would disintegrate into nothingness before life had a chance to arise.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>RNA WORLD, WHY NOT AMINO ACIDS DIRECTLY TO PROTEIN?<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0We need amino acids for RNA and DNA; and DNA and RNA contains the code required to arrange <strong><em>amino acids into proteins and then to life.<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0So each are vital\u00a0<em>components<\/em> of not only the existence and continuance of life but to its very origins. However, assuming they could have naturally occurred, they are universes away from the creation of a protein, let alone a living cell. \u00a0But for now, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>let&#8217;s bypass DNA and assume a protein arose directly from amino acids in a primordial soup. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Even the simplest protein consists of a specified chain of usually 100 or more amino acids arranged in a particular sequence so that it folds into a perfectly created 3 dimensional protein. \u00a0The odds of <strong><em>any<\/em><\/strong> functional protein arising naturally is incomprehensibly unlikely (more on this later). \u00a0But let&#8217;s assume it actually happened; amino acids created a protein. \u00a0Does that solve the origin of life problem? \u00a0No!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><em>Yes, amino acids are the building blocks of life.<\/em> \u00a0The fact that amino acids can be found in nature, divorced from life is the foundation for the argument that: &#8220;since the building blocks of life can be created naturally, so can actual life&#8221;. \u00a0 However, when we look deeper and realize that strings of 100 or more perfectly sequenced amino acids are required to create even the simplest protein. \u00a0(<em>as discussed later, even <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">one functional protein<\/span> is an incredibly unlikely event<\/em>). \u00a0 But even if it \u00a0happened,\u00a0<strong><em>one protein is not<\/em><\/strong> a living cell. \u00a0A simple cell is life, but even the <strong><em>simplest living cell<\/em><\/strong> is comprised of <strong><em>hundreds<\/em> <\/strong>of various proteins, each specifically constructed with various functions and folded into distinct, three dimensional shapes that allow them to fit together perfectly to create the biological mechanisms required for repair and continued life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Consequently, \u00a0even if we assume amino acids naturally assembled to create a protein, it still falls far short of a plausible naturalistic pathway to life. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">True, amino acids are the building blocks of life&#8230; but as a pathway to a naturalistic origin of life, they are no more important to a living cell, than is a speck of dirt to a naturalistically constructed King&#8217;s Castle. \u00a0<strong>It&#8217;s necessary, but far from sufficient.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Consider&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u2022 Properly combine enough assorted specks of dust and types of dirt can create a\u00a0brick. \u00a0But the existence of the dirt is far from sufficient for a brick&#8217;s creation. Nor is the existence of one brick sufficient for a castle. \u00a0Tens of thousands of bricks are required build a palace but their existence, also is not enough. \u00a0Unless each brick is perfectly arranged, all you have is a big pile of bricks. \u00a0Consequently, even though we have the building blocks for bricks, that by itself is woefully insufficient for the creation of a castle.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> \u2022 <strong>By way of analogy<\/strong>, amino acids chained together and sequenced in EXACTLY the right combination will create <strong><em>a protein.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 <em>Then<\/em> e<em>nough proteins<\/em> perfectly arranged and connected can create a cell. \u00a0But just as the existence of dirt is not sufficient for a castle, the existence of amino acids is not sufficient for the creation of life. \u00a0It takes, more&#8230; much more&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em>Realize, that the simplest possible<\/em> living cell<\/strong><\/span> would require an absolute minimum of, at least, 250 to 350 perfectly assembled and specifically arranged proteins in order to build a the essential insulative cell membrane, cytoplasm, many internal biological protective and repair mechanisms <em><strong>plus<\/strong> <\/em>a coded replication system for reproduction. \u00a0(Currently the simplest cell known, contains about 450 various types of perfectly placed proteins). \u00a0Unless the first proteins all came into being <strong><em>simultaneously and functionally connected,<\/em><\/strong> it would not be life. \u00a0And until it&#8217;s life, evolution to higher forms is an impossibility. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Amino acid to protein to life<\/em><\/strong> is a MUCH higher bar than dust to mansion.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000080; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT! \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">And that\u2019s not me saying that. It\u2019s one of the world\u2019s leading origin of life researchers. <strong>Eugene Koonin<\/strong>, (a materialist) has now concluded. *The problem is so stark*, that the emergence of a coupled replication-translation system is unlikely, to the extent of being, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">*EFFECTIVELY IMPOSSIBLE*<\/span>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"> (<em>More on this later<\/em>) \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Furthermore, the <em>*originator of the RNA first Hypothesis, <\/em><strong>Nobel Laureate Sidney Altman*<\/strong> states in this talk <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/IhQcK4PsStk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/IhQcK4PsStk<\/a><\/span> \u00a0at the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">52:15 min mark *RNA as the origin of life is not likely and that <strong><em>RNA has never been seen, absent being a part of existing life<\/em><\/strong>*.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT&#8230; LET&#8217;S ASSUME A LIVING CELL AROSE!<\/strong> Current science dictates that the chances of all protein parts required for a living cell arising concurrently seems all but impossible; this has even been stated by top origin of life researcher, Eugene Koonin. *But let\u2019s assume the virtually impossible did happen*&#8230; a living cell arose!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*A LIVING CELL FROM A PURELY NATURALISTIC MECHANISM!*.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Great!&#8230; but poor little cell&#8230;<\/em><\/span> Unless this newly created living cell arose with, not only, all it needed just to <em>BE<\/em> &#8220;alive&#8221;;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0In order to <strong><em>STAY<\/em> <\/strong>alive it must have also include a DNA like set of instructions for\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>repairing each and every one of the hundreds of individual proteins needed \u00a0for building, repairing AND MAINTAINING every protein, otherwise, it would soon die! \u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/span><strong>IT MUST ALSO HAVE&#8230;<\/strong> \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>coded\u00a0<\/em><strong>information sufficient\u00a0<\/strong><em>to allow the <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">DNA code <\/span>and <span style=\"color: #000080;\">the entire cell<\/span><\/strong> to replicate themselves!&#8230; <\/em>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em>But what&#8217;s missing from this scenario?&#8230; \u00a0Consider&#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>THINK ABOUT IT INFORMATION IS NOT ENOUGH!<\/strong><\/span>, if <em>simultaneous<\/em> with its creation and all the coded information it needed&#8230; unless it was simultaneously equipped with a <strong>*biological mechanism*<\/strong> capable of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>reading<\/em> <\/span>and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>translating<\/em> <\/span>the DNA codes into their biological physical equivalents, there would be an INSURMOUNTABLE PROBLEM! \u00a0 <strong>Unless it was all a functional part of the very first living cell, when it died\u2026 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>*the existence of life on earth is over!*<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>But maybe cells were simpler in the past? Life was less complicated? \u00a0See below<\/em><\/span>).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*UNDERSTANDING THE MAGNITUDE OF THE CODE PROBLEM*<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> DNA is a code. But a code without a <em>translation system<\/em> is useless; a bit like having a CD but no CD player. A \u201c<strong>translator or transcriber<\/strong>\u201d <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>capable of converting the informational properties into the intended embodiment of that information&#8230; physical, biological, written or even musical.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*A SIMPLE EXAMPLE*<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> In our world of technology, the binary code contains the information that creates the computer program that is intended to used in conjunction with:\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> \u2022 A printer, computer, etc&#8230; to receive and translate digital information to a physical document or present it in a visual form to a monitor.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> \u2022 In factories, computers transcribe coded digital information to machines that are directed to produce products that are the physical equivalent of the code.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000080;\">In exactly this same fashion, within all living cells and all living organisms, it always starts with the DNA code being sent to ribosomes to be read and have the information &#8220;translated&#8221; into the specific proteins required to create the countless amazing biomechanical machines that are integral to the continued life, function and even reproduction of each cell*.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Think about it, whether relating to computers, human machines, biochemical mechanisms or even in the reading of a relaxing article, the process is always the same\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">1. Information was first created by an intelligent agent.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> 2. The information is received and understood by a separate \u201csomething\u201d, usually us or our machines.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> 3. If appropriate, the information is then acted upon to create the intended mental or physical manifestation of the information conveyed.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #000000; font-family: impact, sans-serif;\">The fact is, we have never seen an exception:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000080;\">*Intelligently generated Information is always at the <strong>foundation of codes<\/strong>*.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000080;\"> *In the uniform and repeated experience of the history of humanity, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">there has never been even one observed exception to the proposition that <em>the SOURCES OF CODES are always a purposed intelligence<\/em><\/span>*.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*GOD OF THE GAPS? \u00a0JUST GIVE SCIENCE MORE TIME?!*<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"> The problem regarding the ORIGIN OF LIFE doesn&#8217;t just stem from what we DON&#8217;T KNOW or what we have not yet learned&#8230; It is the result of that which we <strong><em>DO know<\/em><\/strong>. The fact is, the more we learn, the more problems naturalistic pathways come up against. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The issues with a natural chemical origin of life are not just the dearth of evidence supporting the hypothesis, <span style=\"color: #000080;\">but the abundance of continually expanding evidence that argues against it.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*THE BLACK CAT THAT WASN\u2019T*<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> The usual response to origin of life problems is to just give science more time to find a naturalistic cause. But, consider, is it <em>just\u00a0possible<\/em> that a naturalistic explanation does not exist? \u00a0Is it possible that our scientists are effectively searching in a very dark, very large room, looking for proof of a very small, very black cat\u2026 <em>that was never there in the first place?<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">If the cat is not and never <em>was<\/em> there, no matter their brilliance, persistence, creativity, fortitude\u2026 it doesn\u2019t matter. They won\u2019t find that cat!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Contrary to the blank check assertions of many naturalists, more time and research can not solve all problems. \u00a0The most persistent, brilliant researcher will NEVER prove that he is the <em>father of his mother<\/em>. \u00a0 Why? \u00a0Because we know that is not how reality works. \u00a0 That hypothesis is contrary to all we know of nature. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em>Just as mothers create sons, according to all we know, coders create codes.<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0000;\">Consider, how much time, money and effort would be spent searching for that black cat if after 50 years of research the <em>sum total of evidence and reasoning for its existence<\/em> is that:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> 1 A number of chemicals that can be found in proteins were found. \u00a0 They know cats are made of proteins. \u00a0They know cats now exist in many places. \u00a0<strong>The downside?<\/strong> \u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">They can find not one iota of evidence that a cat or even an actual cat hair or cat related protein ever existed\u00a0in that room.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> 2. They also found that the room has mice in it. \u00a0Therefore if a cat <i>had been there<\/i>, it would have a ready food source thus capable of surviving. \u00a0<strong>The downside?<\/strong> \u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em>Still no actual evidence that a cat was ever there; <\/em>only the existence of potential prey capable of sustaining a cat&#8230; \u00a0<em>if it existed.<\/em><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> 3. <strong>More downsides&#8230;<\/strong> If a cat <em>had been there<\/em>, they <em>realize<\/em> they should be able to find waste materials proving it. \u00a0However, even after years and years of examining each and every cranny they can find none&#8230; <strong><em>but they continue to search insisting it was there, they just need more time!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #ff0000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <strong><em> Assuming there is no evidence other than this, why would they be so certain the a cat must have been in that room?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">By way of analogy, the above is remarkably close to the the sum total of evidence our top researchers have that &#8220;empirically&#8221; supports a naturalistic cause of life. \u00a0Most of the basics used to support the hypothesis we&#8217;ve already discussed.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Amino acids can be created naturally. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Amino acids are the components of all life&#8230; (but realize, they are NOT \u201ccats&#8221; nor evidence of their existence*)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">A\u00a0PRIMORDIAL soup <em>would have<\/em> contained trillions of amino acids thus increasing the probabilistic resources for the creation of a protein created by a random combination of amino acids. (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">see below, the primordial soup having ever existed is far from certain<\/span>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Although, a very specific combination of amino acids has an infinitesimal chance of creating an RNA or DNA molecule; the fact is, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">divorced from an already living system <strong><em>not even one<\/em><\/strong> has ever been seen.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The creation of a protein from amino acids is an absolute requirement to the first living cell, but one protein is not even close to life. \u00a0 U<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">nless hundreds of proteins come into being at exactly the same moment in the exact proper assemblage, it would not be life.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">In addition to all of the above issues, the fact is substantial empirical evidence of a primordial soup having existed is lacking. In fact, most evidence contradicts it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*THE PRIMORDIAL SOUP*<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em> Was there ever a primordial soup?<\/em><\/span> i.e. The hypothesized massive seas of amino acids that could be used to create the first protein, then first living cell? \u00a0According to most empirical data the answer is No. If it had existed we should find worldwide prebiotic chemical signatures of its existence.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> <strong> Robert Shapiro,<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">a top evolutionary biologist writes that the notion that \u201cthe bases, adenine, cytosine, guanine and uracil were readily available on the early earth [is] not supported by existing knowledge of the basic chemistry of these substances.\u201d<\/span> <strong>Additionally, he writes<\/strong>, \u201c<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The evidence that is currently available does not support the availability of ribose on the prebiotic earth, except perhaps for brief periods of time, in low concentration as part of a complex mixture, and under conditions unsuitable for nucleoside synthesis.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Amazingly enough, even with its many documented flaws, the <em>RNA world hypothesis remains the most plausible naturalistic origin of life theory available<\/em>. \u00a0However, as noted, it suffers from a many serious problems. Even its most ardent supporters acknowledge this fact. Basically nothing. <em>Is a protein life?<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<strong>No<\/strong>. \u00a0 <em>Other than by a living organism, have we never observed the natural formation of a protein?<\/em> <strong>No<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Even so, for the sake of argument, let\u2019s give it the benefit of the doubt.<em> Let\u2019s assume that against all the evidence there was a primordial soup<\/em>.
