WHAT ARE RULES FOR RADICALS?
It is a treatise with a very specific set of rules created not for effective debate but for effective lies, spin and obfuscation and the shutting down of opposing opinion.  That has become the LIBERAL WAY.   Rules for Radicals are below.

The frequency of their implementation by the left has been growing for decades.  In fact, Obama taught a course on “Rules for Radical” at Harvard.  These cancerous philosophies now permeate our universities… Have you noticed how hard it has become for conservatives to speak at universities?   Do you remember the riots in Berkeley over speakers?  Antifa and other liberal groups do everything they can to shut down speech and the exchange of ideas whenever and wherever they can.  It is now common place that university presidents make it ridiculously expensive for a conservative to be able to speak, while conversely rolling out the red carpet for all liberal speakers?…

It was only public pressure and government threats of pulling funding that have somewhat lessened the burden.  It is now even happening in social media in the guise of halting “hate speech”.  Is advocating for strong borders really hate speech?  No… but it is an idea that liberals don’t like.  Currently that appears to be enough.

Most importantly see Rule #5 and Rule #12!
FULL RULES FOR RADICALS- with quick commentary below.

  • RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from with numbers and the perception of numbers comes from yelling loud and long!  Think about it.  With only a few thousand like minded people, with unified repeated complaints, emails, down votes, calls for firings or threatened boycotts can create the impression of huge powerful movement.

    • RULE 1: These are two things of which there is a plentiful supply. Government and corporations always have a difficult time appealing to people, and usually do so almost exclusively with economic arguments.

  • RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
    • RULE 2: Organizations under attack wonder why radicals don’t address the “real” issues. Rule #2 is why.  Mobs don’t think and they don’t debate. Gen up the rage with slogans and avoid the details of which their people have little knowledge.   It’s much easier to avoid the real issue than to discuss it..
      • Example: They won’t talk about the financial cost and dangers of open borders and illegal immigration.  They just yell racist!

  • RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
    • RULE 3: This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments and often lies that are impossible to properly address, but nevertheless MUST be addressed.
      • Example: Last minute accusations of decades old wrong doing.  It’s difficult to prove a negative that didn’t occur.  Triply so if it is decades old.  (Presently a favorite tactic of the left).

  • RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, have your Thousand members send 30 letters each.  You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
    • RULE 4: This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch them lying or not living up to its commitments, they can then continue to chip away at the damage and claim hypocrisy and lack of integrity.

  • RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no good defense; especially if the ridicule comes from many directions.  (Strength and power in numbers RULE #1). It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
    • RULE 5: Have you ever noticed that liberals rarely argue actual facts?  Instead they change the subject and what you’ll hear is ridicule and insults.  i.e.  Bush was a drunk.  Palin’s daughter had a child out of wedlock, Trump is a racist, etc…  As long as they can avoid the facts and discussion with constant ad hominem attacks they are content… This insures that the real merits of the issue are never actually addressed…  it doesn’t matter if you are right or even if they are wrong… only that you are knocked of balance!

  • RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
    • RULE 6: The Radical activists, in this sense, are no different than any other human being. We all avoid “un-fun” activities, and but we revel at and enjoy the ones that work and bring results.  Think Antifa and their violent demonstrations. Or the packs of liberals we now constantly see shouting down the speech of others?  These are things that someday they’ll proudly say there were a part of that.  Seriously, don’t they look like they were having fun?  This dove tails with Rule #2   Properly implemented, they have no need to have even the slightest clue of the merits of the policies they are opposing… all that matters is that you are unable to speak to support it.

  • RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
    • RULE 7: Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.  One day, go to an event and make certain that the speaker can’t be heard.  Next week go to an opponents home and shout bumper slogans.  .
  • RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
    • RULE 8: Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization or person a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.  Notice, the left is never at a loss for a new way to attack or besmirch an opponent… No truth required.

  • RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.   Constant pressure can cause exhaustion and even some paranoia that can then be used to repeat Rule #5… “See he’s paranoid… he’s not only wrong unfit and mentally unsound!”

    • RULE 9: Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.

  •  RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence against the radical by the other side can win the public to their side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
    • RULE 10: Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management’s wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to the side of the unions.

  • RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without what, at least, sounds like a solution to the problem.
    • RULE 11: Old saying; If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.  Activist organizations have an agenda, and their strategy is to hold a place at the table, to be given a forum to wield their power. So, they have to have a compromise solution.

  •  RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
    • RULE 12: It’s hard to argue your case, when you are forced to defend your character or defend your freedom in court.
      • Interestingly, Obama taught a course on “Rules for Radical” at Harvard.
      • Additionally, Hillary actually wrote her thesis on it.

If you pay attention, every day you will see another variety of these despicable tactics on display by our liberal representatives?
Ask yourself, is it just a coincidence that the actions and statements of liberal leaders and their followers so consistently appear as if they were pulled directly from THE RULES?

The Moral of the Story?
You can’t win a battle if you don’t know the rules.
For liberals, the strategy is always a combination of those found in the Rules for Radicals.http://allsolutionsnetwork.org/blog/rules-for-radicals-saul-alinsky

For the liberals, there is only one rule.
Win.  Get and obtain power at all costs.
